Went to job center the other day and saw a job advertised. Phoned agency and they said thats right come down and register and well get you sorted. Got there registerd and asked advisor about the job. Oh sorry weve got no work at mo but we are getting ready for when we do.Surely they shouldnt advertise the jobs in the job center then.

Its a very common practice mate, Almost all recruitment agencies do this, it is simply an exercise to fill up their candidate pool.

The Agency will have a projected recruitment drive and needs the staff base there to fill it when it touches down, hence they advertise the role a lot earlier than required.
