I understand that Rafa was forced into 1 subsitution but if Crouch can't get on in a game where they needed goals then when is he ever going to get on?
Time to leave Crouch.
Crouch isn't good enough for Liverpool. If they want to be genuinely challenging for the title, having Kuyt and Crouch as your strikers, will not get you there.
Kuyt hasn't played as a striker all season. He's been playing right-mid, and playing well.
Crouch can't be good enough if he's on the bench. When he does play, he scores and contributes a lot to the side. Feel sorry for him.
WAT?
Kuyt has come into form recelty, but ultimately, he isn't good enough.
Crouch is just lol. He would do well in a mid table team, but to be playing for Liverpool...
Im with you Nem.
Need to sell Kuyt, Pennant and crouch in the close season 2 strikers 1 being a big name and a right winger required

I disagree. Having watched most of Liverpool's games this season, Kuyt has been one of the better players. Pennant hasn't had a run in the team, so it's harsh to criticise someone who isn't playing week in, week out.
As for Crouch it's the same. He plays, and he scores or adds to the side. Both Crouch and Kuyt are in double figures this season. Not bad for a squad player and a right-midfielder.

Liverpool need a major clear out in the summer. Hypia, Riise, Alonso, Crouch, Kuyt are imo just not good enough for a club like Liverpool.

All 3 of them are decent squad players but none should be in the first team.If the manager doesn't have faith in you to change the game ie crouch then you know u have to move on! He'd be welcome at newcastle 4 me
Riise and alonso are good enough players to be in a title winning side imo

Crouch is the ultimate impact player even if you don't think he fits the current liverpool (or England) system.
Man U to win the Prem,
Chelsea to win the Champions League
Roman Abromovich to fix the final in Russia and buy the European cup

Oh, and even though I usually call him all sorts, I was happy for Lampard tonight. Yes, it's his job, and yes he's an over-paid footballer - but I'm sure he's give all the money away to have his mum back. Thought he did very well tonight.

Crouch would have played 100% tonight had Skrtel not gone off injured and we had to use one of our substitutions on Hyypia.
Babel came on and scored so not exactly the wrong move out of the two.

One time for Avram Grant aka Baron Greenback aka Uncle Fester.
How he is under pressure I dont know. It seems needing a personality is now a prerequisite of being Chelsea manager.
The boy's done good.

Riise is gone. Degen is his replacement.
Hyypia is 4th choice CB for one more season only - not really going to play much - wouldn't have tonight but for injury.
Alonso when on form is class - Carrick but better.
Crouch is a decent impact player but will probably leave for first team football.
Kuyt wont be sold. Now that he seems to be over his dad's death I dont mind him staying one bit until we find a proper right winger or Pennant regains form.
Kewell and Voronin need to go and we need a new left winger and striker.

Probs agree with the others.

if alonso where to leave it would be 2 a team as good if not better than liverpool whereas all the rest would likely have to take a step down from where there at.I would rather have alonso the mascherano
