Asus eee pc
«
on:

Has anyone got one of these, had any experience with them or know anything about them?
I saw a colleague using the 701 and it looks quite a good bit of kit. Useful in so many ways due to its small size.
The 900 is out now, though I don't know who has them in stock.
Oh and if anybody knows, would Linux be a better bet then the XP upgrade?
Thanks in advance.

Writing reports etc. So mainly spread sheet and word processing when away from "base"
Oh and emailing the reports
Hopefully the Open Office thingy, which I know sod all about will work like MS office and allow integration, i.e. pull figures from spread sheet cells into the word document.
Poker will be a bonus but not crucial.

I live in one of the smallest motorhomes you can find and I feel the need for a third PC.

It's so small he can carry it around in the gap where his front teeth used to be.
