Been reading the threads on social events for evenings which are all well and good but I have to admit my primary reason for BB6 is the poker.

I'll be doing the DTD events friday, saturday, sunday evening with potential for social pending knock out.  Anyone else planning this or im I the only whose not my balance/priorities right?

i think you are on your own , the main reason of bb6 is to get drunk do a quiz laugh at flushy's dress sense and come home..

whilst there it's a great chance to meet people that you normaly only see there avitar and that happens to be at a poker table.

you get one or two whose sole intention is the same as yours but for the majority who play serious poker all yer round a blonde bash is a time for fun and joviality.

dont be suprised to find lunatic play and lots of verbal at your table and if your looking to take advantage of that then good luck to you.

most people have fun and play loose in the main comp and if they luckbox chips and go deep (like kev last year) they then play properly.

a blonde bash is about having fun with friends you meet in the virtual world most days but rarely in the flesh not about trying to make to much money.

just my opinion

you only have to look at some of the past winners, snatiramas, chip rich and colchester kev to see that no one takes the tourni to serious

ffs how the hell could any of those win a proper tournament

Don't get me wrong.  My last BB was BB2 and I fully plan on repeating the pattern of drinking, table banter and loose play.

I'll be at the quiz and I'll likely come watch the footy and cheer on my fellow southerners from the sidelines.  I guess I should have just kept my question simple and asked in anyone else is planning the to participate in the normal DTD evening events.

the sole reason i'm going to bb6 is to meet you all. I've only ever met kev and ed (they've been on telly you know) before plus a handful of others. It'll be nice to put some faces to names...oh and to get totally hammered and make a fool of myself. this will be the first BB that i've attended and if all goes well i'll be too embarrassed to attend any more :-)

i do so hope dtd turn a blind eye to the comedy sngs regards juice etc. these games are played for fun and with no side table games to be had not everyone will want to play cash or tourni poker.

and with tighty not attending im asking him to forward me the rules to his 6 card hi lo omaha double flop game
