yeah the old "there's nothing on the telly" thing doesn't work as Sky knows ussually people who cancel  for that reason will be back.

Can you not get it set up in the missus' name like you mentioned earlier?  What are their 'rules' on people who've cancelled reapplying?  I'm sure they'd be happy for the business.

There is a moral to the story though.  They didn't buy the continuation bet, and firing the second bullet on the turn didn't seem to work either.  Don't try and bluff a calling station (call centre).

Usually your anecdotes and puns are witty dan but this one was poor.. actually shaking my head at this one real poor..

I realised that half way through it, but thought sod it I've typed this much I might as well post it.

I'm currently contractually obligated to Sky but if I cancel and join again, can I be your friend?

P.S. I like your Sky promo  Grin

Love that you just got thru to the obv noob who hates talking to customers and just wanted to get you off the phone as soon as possible.

p.s. I was thinking about how to get the SKy+ blackmail thing going, will give it a try and get back to you....handy for the next time you try it...!
