I have 5 70's 1 of them in full t6 and the rest in s3 pvp gear. I have no idea what the accounts worth but I would expect at least 1-2k+ min. Like you said its all about your loot or ratings in arena that people want to buy.

Its the best time to sell, plenty of time before the expansion when everyones gear is crap again and you have to grind all your toons to 80.

If you in semi decent guild you can minimise your playtime and still get the best items in the game. 10-20 arena games per week 2hrs. 2-3 raids 10hrs ish.

Dunno, but I may give it a bash tonight instead of playing poker, I see you get a 10 day free trial.

Any tips on what sort of character to go for?  I was thinking of a dwarf warrior

Any character and class if fairly easy to level up.

It depends what you want from the game, i would go hunter/mage for power leveling you character if you plan on playing solo mostly. Healer of some sort if you going to group alot and always want to find a group easily.

LOL, just used that site to search for 70's for sale on my old realm and there is one for $730 and the gear isn't even that great.

I had 5 70's at tlme of logout 2 maxed pvp & i good mix of pvp/pve. I'll probably go back for ROLK but that's made it very tempting to sell up.

apparently there is a group of japanese gamers that play WoW all day 24-7 and take it in turns on the same character. they can level to 70 within 36 hours (this may even be shorter now) and they then sell on their accounts

Well done Billy, and a  nice price really, for a quick sale.

Look at it this way, most crack addicts don't get 600 notes for their old pipe.

Even worse
£5000, not $5000

It is proper crazy, and I'm not for a moment saying otherwise, but there are plenty of people out there who would not be able to get their heads round paying $10,000 to enter a poker tournament.
Still, a lot of proper dead money enters the big comps all the time.

Now for my new addiction, GTA IV......

but isnt GTA IV out yet? April 29th is the official launch date

Yup, the proceeds from selling my awesome warlock will pay for a new Xbox360 and the GTA IV  game, with a tidy sum left over i might add.

You make money playing this game>?
