2GB of RAM I'd say is a must.  Even if you're only playing poker on it, with the poker client, pockertracker, a web browser, and possibly some music or video playing you'll be happy you've got 2GB - and that's before you even think about Vista!

mine never worked properly - complete pile of crap - ended up writing it off myself - might as well have thrown some money down a drain
