This journey never fails to amaze me!!!!
Monday 04th June 2012 For those of you have followed from the beginning, you will know that Roxanne and I celebrated being together 5 years on May 13th.
In that time I believe all of my posts have been positive and full of hope and written as is, the one topic I haven’t written about is Roxanne and I having children, reason for this is to be perfectly honest as far as I am concerned it is never going to happen!! Why? Well since being together we have never taken any precautions as Roxanne as always made it clear she wants to have a child she also believes it’s her duty to me, I have explained this is not so and if it happens I would be happy but if it’s not meant to be then that’s fine also as we have Cean and I regard him as my son.
So 5 years on and as I say every month comes and goes and no baby, I believe this is maybe down to the fact that due to my lifestyle over the years the little fishes are no longer able to swim the channel!! AND THEN..................
2 weeks ago Roxanne informs me she is 2 days overdue this in itself rings alarm bells as she is as regular as clockwork, I laugh it off and tell her not to worry it will happen, after another 5 days still nothing and now I am sweating, so off to Boots and buy the test which she duly does and it’s POSITIVE!!!!!!!!
Now I am thinking maybe she peed on the wrong bit and it’s a false reading, so I call the Dr to make an appointment to get another test done, so last Thursday we are in the Dr’s and she confirms Roxanne IS PREGNANT!!! What a birthday present........
All joking aside I am obviously over the moon, it’s probably going to mean changing some of our plans but we will roll with it as and when issues arise...............
