I'd prefer the original idea one for each event £20 freezeout option, winner  gets the apat seat.

I get what you're saying with the buy-in.  I was just thinking about making the tournaments interesting to people who are out of the running for the APAT seat come the 5th event (for example).

Maybe the events could be different buy-ins, some $10 some $20.  Kev will sort it, he's my hero.

Very nice idea but how the hell would you decide who gets the seats? I think it would give you guys more headaches than you could possibly imagine.

How about a league with the leader just before the Dublin event getting a seat to use at either event. The league then continues with the overall winner getting the other seat (first winner can't win 2 seats but can get the cash).

On reflection, you are right, it'd lead to all sorts of "issues", but it was still a nice thought. If only, eh?

Just before the Dublin event would leave it a bit late to get a good deal on hotel and travel though wouldn't it?
