Vic only for me. Some sort of $20 league sounds good.

...
How about a league with the leader just before the Dublin event getting a seat to use at either event. The league then continues with the overall winner getting the other seat (first winner can't win 2 seats but can get the cash).

Just before the Dublin event would leave it a bit late to get a good deal on hotel and travel though wouldn't it?

In fact, it already is!  I was looking yesterday.  Might have to give Dublin a miss.

Managed to book two single rooms here http://www.abraecourt.ie/?r=3639034 yesterday for €50pppn inc brekkie. 2.5m from cardroom.

Count me in as long as it isn't a Thurs night, I'm happy with whatever format although $10 buy-in over 5 comps seems reasonable to me or it's almost worth just buying in direct, unless there's lots of added value and not just the seats to play for.

Whatever you come up with though you have my support.

That's the thing.  It's not just the seats is it?  The more in the prizepool, the more cash prizes there'll be.  This will help keep people's interest until the end.

5 x $20 tournies is only £50.  Not bad if spread over 5 weeks.

so then it's not much more to buy in direct and play softer games for the exs.

The seats are an added incentive on top of the prizepool yeah ? as it was very good of tighty and kev to add these as a very kind donation. It seems most are keen on 5 and best 3 guess kev could choose the buy in personally happy with either.

Obviously if you play all 5 and spend £50 you could buy in close 2 that but wouldn't be playing in what im sure will be some good fun banter tourneys full of us blondes also if you win it you going have good way to expenses covered as well.

That's not the point.  The APAT events are over-subscribed, and people play the regionals (£20 a pop), the online sats ($20 a pop) just to try and avoid the click-fest.

If it was easy to just buy-in, then many wouldn't bother with the sats.

These tournaments will be standard blonde fair, but with the added bonus of a couple of seats for the lucky winners - seats that are worth more than the £75 they'd cost to if you're lucky enough to buy-in directly.

How much are the Virgin fessie sats?  They're €20 a pop aren't they?
