I like to change gears mid to late tournament and start getting aggressive. I start to raise with a wider range and mix up the postions that I do this from..also throw in a couple of limps on the button with filth to really confuse people to take it with position if the blinds show extreme weakness.

However sometimes I go through spates of people just moving in on me for my stack or a good proportion not even allowing for hero maths calls.

In this position I know most of the time they have the goods ( the tight ones usually Obv )  and I have a little dwell and pass.

NOW...my general thinking is this is the nature of the beast and I keep to my game plan with the premise im going to steal more than I have to give over folding.

But the last couple of tourneys ive been moved in constantly which has led to major frustration and a short stack..although i recovered one of them to become chip leader on the FT by play with no cards..... Is this the way to continue or do i need to make adjustments Huh?

Just move in before them?

50 - 25BBs you open light and three bet tight. 35BBs or less never 3 bet with the intention of folding.

25BBs -12BBs you open tight and three bet light. 25BBs or less if you 3 bet you shove.

12BBs or less you should just open shove. Once you below 20BBs don't open a pot and fold at any point thereafter.

Go all - in a lot and run good = success.

Before you put your raise in have a clear idea of whose pushes you would call and whose you would fold to, then you don't have to make decisions on the fly. You can then also size your opening raise based on the result you are after. IMHO.
