I might be wrong (and probably am) but I always thought that Sky boxes reported back what channels you had been watching.

It could only do that via the phone line, and that isn't constantly calling Sky.  In fact, after 12 months you don't have to have the phone line connected.

The 1st leg, Barcelona is on pokertube, shown in Canada (that well known part of Europe). The rest I don't know.

I believe that 5,100 households is the sample size.  25 million households in the UK.

It's unlikely you'll be part of the sample.

Not sure how they work out/guess the number of people watching in pubs/clubs, etc.

Because of this sample size you can, and do, get the highly amusing occasional result of a show with 0 viewers - always makes me chuckle.

My sky plus stops working if I unplug the phone line and they said it was a condition of subscription when I had it installed.

Really enjoyed the show and well done to Horneris on the win, but the "one time" shouts are now so irritating and ridic I am stunned they still say it!

I loved the show, hated the commentary.  Just too much of an air of smugness and sarcasm for my liking.

Watched it last night but the commentary & analysis was absolutely terrible.

They seem out of touch with the modern game & modern styles.
