6 days since Man Utd claimed their 3rd European Cup, 5 days since Celtic clinch the SPL, and 3 days since Rangers lift the Scottish Cup & one of next season's Premiership relegation favourites, Hull, clinched their spot in the Prem.

Only 2 days since I thanked God that the season was over.

Now I find myself desperately missing any meaningful football and counting the minutes to Euro 2008 (I know it's only 11 days but it seems an age).

Is it just me?

Euro 2008 is going to piss me off big time ... still on the bright side, no emotional ties to any one team should make betting a bit more scientific Wink

Isn't there all sorts of South American and Australian football you can still bet on?

Got a bit of a footie fix tonight watching the Eircom League game on Setanta, OK it's not the best standard but it was competitive and beats friendlies (future thread, friendlies are rubbish).

I also have a bit of a dilema on the Euro 2008 betting front, I think Germany will win it but just can't bring myself to bet on them. I'm not keen on betting on a team I never want to win, although I suppose I could think of it as a form of insurance.  I'm thinking of an each way punt on Russia at the moment not that I've any great love of our vodka drinking friends in the east but I think they represent a fair bit of value.

Surely no england fan is looking forward to the euros starting a can't wait for it to be over and then move on from it and be glad didnt have to watch eng get beat on pens again the useluss fukwits. I am looking forward to the fixtures coming out on the 16th june( i think) so i can start looking at the trips i may do away (we always do boxing day away full squad quality trip) and see when we've got the big 1 at home and away.

The A League has been finished for a while now unless there are a few provincial leagues still playing? theres still AFL running here in Oz if anybody wants any info on the teams I can try to help.

Surely it's not just me who's really looking forward to them?  England have been dull for ages to watch. Sure I'm gutted we're not there, but I'm still looking forward to the competition.
