Portugal look very beatable to me but I'm not sure if Germany are capable so for me a draw looks a good bet tonight.
Penalties FTW and then theres only 1 winner............can anyone tell me the last time Germany lost a penalty shootout.

In shoot-outs, Germany have scored 93 per cent of kicks - 25 out of 27
In six penalty shoot-outs in their history, the Germans have only missed two kicks - the last by Uli Stielike back in the 1982 World Cup semi-final.
West Germany lost the first shoot-out at a major finals at Euro 76 when the then Czechoslovakia won the final 5-3 on penalties after Uli Hoeness blasted over the bar and Antonin Panenka cheekily chipped home the winner.

I reckon Germany will get through.
I don't think Nuno Gomes up top on his own is good enough but if Ronaldo was played through the middle (or on the right if that dodgy left back plays) then they would cause Germany problems.

Portugal in recent major tournaments have flattered to deceive on many occassions and I've got a feeling Euro 2008 could be the same, I don't think the Germans are any cop but I can see them getting a draw and then with their outstanding penalty shootout record advancing to the semi-final.
