Just got knocked out of a torni - i read the hand correctly in every way - but played it badly

dealt two hearts two spades  limp in - 1 raise with 2 other callers

flop comes down    three clubs

original raiser bets 100 into a 400 pot. the other 2 fold - I know I should have raised here as he is showing weakness, but was 99% he had ace king and thought id let him hang himself

flop is a  .

I bet out 200 to try and give a sign of weakness as I know what he has ( i think i do) and he does what i want and moves all in. I am 100% now he has ace king and call - after telling everyone what he has

He turns over ace king - and rivers a

I then get slated by everyone even though I explained what he had before i called.

How shud I have played this guys/gals

if you were so sure he had ace king i would probably moved all in or a big enough raise to put him off the hand. Also saying that sometimes people will not lay down the ace king untill the river if they havent hit anything, because everyone knows ace king is better than aces    lol

if there was no way he was laying down the hand then hes a fish simple as and he got lucky the hand pre flop between yous was roughly 50/50 ok by the turn you were abouy a 3-1 fave i believe, but its poker so you will get outdrawn they only other way is you folding on the flop since you never hit your set.
