Was off to snap a photo of the current chips leaders, including Demetrios Mikolaidis (pictured right here) When the following hand unravelled: board with two players still in. A fairly substantial bet and call on the turn made a pot of about 8K with Ismail Yusuf and James Morris in the hand - both with about that still in their stacks. Ismail shoved all-in on the river of , and despite a long dwell James reluctantly folded his hand. So we'll never know what they had... (Ismail is pictured on the left stacking his newly acquired chips) I walk past the table - and PelhamBoy ( Martin Jarvis) is up from 5K to over 10K after his TT became a set on the flop, and he moved in on a spade-flushing board to get rid of his two opponents and take down a nice pot. Whilst I'm talking to him, Ismail and James are at it again, all-in re-raise by Ismail pre-flop is called by James, who anti-climatically (?) had the same hand. I have heard a few speech play merchants in my time, but I have to put Des Jonas in my top 3 ... always always top quality banter ...he ties players in knots and is a master at manipulating the action in his favour, it really is good to watch.
