Bookiebasher now has a very nice 120K, and yes, he's smiling. Which isn't what Ricky Gill is doing now. He shoved with his short stack of 11K, and was called by Paul Lammas and Qurban Hussain. The was exciting enough for Paul who then shoved all-in, Qurban quickly folded. Ricky's was well behind Paul's and the turn and river were blanks.

I tell you who has impressed me in this comp ... Richard Berridge ... i said to him yesterday that I had never seen him so focussed and in the zone as he was all day, and today he has continued in that mindset.
Richard is like Marmite, you either love him or you hate him ... well imo his game has been spot on this weekend, and even with the distraction of a dealers choice game going on he is focussed on the task in hand.
Never one to sit quietly at a table, he openly offers his opinions to everyone whether they want it or not ... love him or hate him, you cant argue with the fact that when he is on his game he is a match for anyone with his calculated but ballsy style of play.

I'll join in with the spooky timing and talk about Mr Berridge as well. Robin Chapman raises 5K, and is called by Richard Berridge in the SB and Stuart Langford checks. flop, and Richard Berridge moves all in (for over 100K and he has the other two covered). Stuart Langford hits the table in disgust (at how he played the hand?) and folds, Chapman also folds. Richard shows the ...

The two Jims - Morris and Moult have had a mini-tangle. Small raise pre-flop is called. Check check. turn. Morris bets 7K and Moult folds. Morris shows the ...

And even spookier said Mr Berridge has just LOST a mahooooooosive pot, his flopped set of 10's met resistance from a flopped nut flush draw which duly hit and Richard Berridge saw a near 300k pot going the way of Simon Lee
