no - this is a problem that started outside of the forum.  the police have been involved and there is a harrassment order in place which means that if said person tries to make any contact with me they can be arrested without further warning.  It has moved onto blonde since then.

just a quick note to say thanks for the supportive PMs and texts.  I take on board what people have said about just rising above it, which is what I have been doing over the last couple of months.  What only a handful of people on here know is that I have been suffering with an anxiety related illness for a while now.  Blonde has been somewhat of a lifeline as it's been somewhere I could come and have a laugh and forget about the day to day stuff that's been causing me trouble.  Unfortunately, recent events have meant I can't relax around here as I could, and it's really for the sake of my health that I need to step away for a bit.  It's a sad state of affairs, but I need to retain some sanity.

Thanks again, it's good to know I have friends here, and will hopefully be back before too long xxx

I noticed a rather odd comment after one of your posts...that explains it.

As you have pointed out banning the IP address would not stop your stalker from spying on you which is a bit creepy and its understandable why you are upset.

I really dont think you should let this person drive you away from Blonde though Claire because then she/he has won by upsetting your life even more.

Might I suggest, with permission from the mods, that you and Matt open another account with a different name and then PM all your buddies (a bit of a pain I know) letting them know what it is.

At the very least it will drive her/him crazy wondering what your new username is

thanks again everyone - I really have been overwhelmed by all the messages of support I've received - you're a great bunch

As with anything, sleeping on it has helped put it into perspective.  Yep, she's still here today (albeit 'hidden'), but you know what - I don't really care.  If she is sad enough to spend her life watching a computer screen all day every day just to see what I am up to, then let her - no skin off my nose, and I know which end of that I'd rather be on.
