As we get older we realise that life starts to repeat itself. IE  fashion, platforms, Mini's Maxi's etc. Now music.

Duffy takes me on a reet nostalga trip.

Anymore ?

Today whilst me and Sam went for a drive out, we were arseing about as we do, singing and having a laugh, when he starts singing this

so I join in with the chorus and we give the LA LA LA LA LA LA  bit plenty of welly ...

when we finished we were both laughing and I say "how do you know that song ?" .... turns out it is on one of his fav computer games !!!

not really the same thing, but watching my daughter grow up (and it's happening so fast!) takes me back - it just doesn't seem that long ago I was going through all the stuff she is now!  In the past few weeks she's mastered her skipping rope, lost her first baby tooth, taken part in her first school sports day, learnt how to do cats cradle, taught me the names of all the different kinds of dinosaurs in the natural history museum, and continually amazes me with her insight.

Sorry - gone off topic a bit, but I'm so proud of my baby Smiley

Wow that brings back some memories.

Computer games are great for teaching kids some of the old classics. I caught my 13yr old singing one of my all time favorites.
