This thread is making me so gutted I haven't got a Reading ticket.
Looks like I'll need to start queueing with my mate and a crate early on the wednesday morning.

Judie Tzuke - Birmingham 1981 (and many times since)
Others that were nearly as good were:
The Jam - Birmingham 1982
Stiff Little Fingers - many times
The Waterboys - Rock City, Nottingham (possibly around 1989 :-) )
The Undertones - Birmingham 1982
The Smiths - Nottingham Concert Hall c 1985
Jackson Browne - Nottingham Concert Hall 2006
The Rolling Stones - Bristol c 1982
Springsteen - Roundhay Park - c 1985
OK - I'm going to stop listing them now - there are too many concerts that have really moved me

Ive only been to two live acts, one being awesome the other being very disapointing
Awesome = Bruce Springsteen 2008 - Old Trafford
Ive seen some old dvds (and old school vhs) of his, and always wanted to see him live - tbh i dont think there will be a better performer in my life time. He seems to make every concert special for his fans.
Disapointing = Bob Dylan 2006 (?) - Nottingham arena
He seemed as tho he was there for the money only - turned up, did his bit and nuffiin else - a complete oposite to the boss who tried to interact with the audience. Also i think he has lost his voice a little from the 'old' days!.
bruce springsteen .. i would recommend n e one to go see - i think him with the e-steet band is best tho

Was at the Proclaimers gig tonite at Edinburgh Castle, very good as usual.
Best gig for me was Morrissey at Glasgow last year, whilst not everyone's cup of tea, he's a great performer.
