Bigots at the poker table
«
on:

I'm as close to life tilt as I'll ever get. Two people at my table talking about how they hate jews amongst other people.
It's easy enough to block their chat (and I've reported them) but why the bloody need to be racist in the first place?!? Makes me sick.
Sorry for the rant

There are people in life who are idiots, this seems to be exasperated by the internet, if you feel strongly enough about it,report them and yeah i find blocking chat is good for your sanity.

Bear in mind that if they tilt you, they win.
Ignore it.

Remember that these people are in the minority. Doesn't make it right but then again neither would being a Millwall supporter. It is all in the perspective.
Oh and well done for reporting lots of people would not bother

I was semi-aware of what they were trying to do, so didn't let it bother me 'that' much. I know that there are things that you can do to give you an edge, but how far does one go to get a substantial advantage. It says a lot about their play doesn't it?

What site was it? If it was the uk - depending what they said, it may be a criminal offence.

Their comments are quite ironic when you consider who is the money behind many of the top networks.

Report any racist or abusive behaviour. Certainly don't let it tilt you though. Report it, and if you think it's going to put you off your game, switch the chat off.
If you were playing in a live game what would you do? I'd probably say something, and if it's in a casino I'd complain to the staff. If it was at a home game, I'd comment and if it continued, I'd probably leave - as I don't want to spend an evening with people who think/talk like that.
