IMO Chelsea is the only club in the prem that deco will do well(man u and arsenal obv wouldn't have bought him) as he'll only play 15/20 games so will stay fit enough to play well enough in these games.If he's seen as a first team regular then this is a poor signing by chelski imo he isn't good enough consistently enough anymore imo to be in a title winning side.

casaraghi would have been ok, was just finding his feet when hit by a career finishing injury! as for babb he was always shit!

Mourinho got it right not signing Deco over here. He's a luxury player who doesn't like to muck in with the tracing back etc. Ballack was a much better signing suited to the EPL.
This type of player only works with your midfield having two holding players and only playing one up front, and relies on everything being based around that man. I'd much rather build a team around Ballack.
Saying that you wont be losing much at 8 million if it goes wrong.
