I will closing my account at stars and throwing their merchandise in a large refuse sack for recycling..........and I had a lot of their merchandise

Blatant "I have lost soo much weight my Stars top doesn't fit me anymore brag IMO". Wink

it's a shame Stars won't allow it anymore but you have to realise that they can not keep doing this, it already went against their original T&Cs and I'm pretty sure it's costing them money...they're not a bank after all and if they would allow this they would have to allow it for a hell of a lot of people around the world in a similarly tough situation.

Yes I guess you are right Boldie, I have now been sent a further response which i guess is from higher up.

Hello Maureen, Thank you for your email. Please keep in mind that further abuse of this policy might incur on permanently blockage of your account. Thank you for playing at Pokerstars. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.  Regards, Kuok SenPokerStars Security Team.

So thanks for trying to help all it meant a lot. I will return the monnies from this last drawout today. This will have been the third cashout I would have made from you guys. My account on Stars , like I said will then be empty. I told them that we foolishly thought we were allowed after my email explaing the situation and giving them links to Blonde then them ok'ing it.

xx

Paypal ftw obv

paypal is free and fast

Paypal isn't free. They take a percentage of the transacted amount.

Bank transfers are free though.

Bank transfers are so simple too, sort code, last 8 digits, 10 seconds work...

Bank transfers = bad idea.  You only need to read anything written by Frank Abagnale to get that far. I'd firmly suggest not giving bank details to people you don't really know, and even then. I'd also stop using cheques completely though so maybe I'm just ott.

Best must be for someone with a decent role and activity on stars or tilt to collect funds and send on to the nun the same amount from their own money (cash or cheque etc), then withdrawing the funds overtime to cover the payment from their own money. Difficult to audit though!

I haven't got a lot of time this evening to look into this, but anyone can set up a sponsorship/donations site with http://www.easysponsorship.com/

It's free to set up your own website with photos etc and then we could all e-mail round the link so everyone who wants to donate can.  There is a per transaction fee taken by Pay pal (who process the card transactions) but this is fairly standard because it's actually a charge passed on by the credit card providers (Visa etc)

Hope this helps
