Gambling gets a bad rap imo. Stick to what you know and, if you can make a profit out of it, then what's the harm?
Although most people do lose, that's true.
Whether these statistics are right I don't know but I've heard that on Betfair...only 0.7% of customers make a profit of £40k per year. That ain't many.

I would be surprise if 0.7% of their customers wagered £40k per year, made a profit.
