Well I am not that muich of a musiccy person - although I do have a huuuge iPod full of strange stuff, but a colleague at work leant me the second disk from the new Kate Bush album today, and I have to say it is fabby.

I'm off to Amazon right now to get it, and also buy me one of them there Harrington books.

Seriously well impressed with what i have heard - nice ambient with some other stuff mixed in, I could imagine playing poker to it, not to mention a few other things.

Kate Bush rocks!

That futureheads cover of Hounds of Love is quite cool too.

Best Bush cover has to go to the Utah Saints for Something Good though. (not a big fan of the rest of their stuff but that was a BFFT)

Heid,

I love Kate.
However . .
The new album is a real problem for me.  Disc 1? Sea of Honey is poor.  Yes her voice is still brilliant, but I thought it was too produced, there is no raw edge to it.  Put simply I was very disappointed.  And from this rises A Sky Of Honey (Disc 2?), it is simply breathtaking.  Melodic, Natural, it is all built around her voice as it should be, once again you listen thinking she is giving you a piece of her world(wherever that is).  So for me after 15 years of waiting I don't know what to think . . the misses hates it so I guess its got potential.  Maybe Sea of Honey just needs time to mature.

Hope you like it, I would still suggest everyone try's it.

Nakor,

I LOVE the second disc - my mate leant it to me this afternoon, I was on the third listen to it by the time he wanted it back.. I heard a snippet of the 1st disc, when sadly returning the second.

I'll let you know what I think of the 1st one in a few days Smiley

Red, I have ordered both books, I have next week off work, so I want to gen up a bit.
