Cheers Jim for the staking ... my comp was really weird...

First hand on small  blind I have  4 limpers, I make up BB checks .. Flop  which was nice !!  I check , call a 100 bet as does 1 other player ... Turn a  CHECK ... Call a 125 bet as does 1 other ... River  I am first to speak so bet 225 1 caller who showed  and i was off and running.

By the end of level 2 I had increased my starting stack of 7k to 9.5k nothing fancy, had  , someone raised  3 callers, so pumped up the pot with a re raise and they all passed .. the table was ridiculous, Expressman was at my table, and he will justify, it was full of calling stations, absolutely incredible !

One lad, who was quite open about it being his first ever live game, and he was truly bloody awful, called from any position with any sooooooooted cards, and called flop bets even if he only saw one of his coloured cards on the flop etc ... AWFUL !

Level 3 and I pick up  blinds are 100/200 5 limpers round to me, and i make it 800 all pass apart from the station in seat 6 ... flop  he checks, I lead out for 1200 he calls ... Turn is  he checks, I bet 1500 he calls !!! ... river is  ... he checks, i check ... he turns over  !! someone asked him if he didnt fancy a value bet on the river, he replied "No, i thought he had a TEN"  ... much hilarity when he was asked why he called flop and turn bets if he thought i had a ten in my hand, all he said was,"I had suited cards and hit the flop and I would have called all in on the river anyway cos i had a full house ". Hmmmmmmmm

So 6k at the end of level 3 ... certainly not a disaster ( oh little did i know)

nothing much happened after the break until the last hand of the level ... I get  On the BB 5 Limpers (sigh) so I pop it to 1200 to play ... mr station in seat 6 ... yes he is still here Smiley calls everyone else mucks, flop    ... Now I know this bloke is a muppet but I think well i am gonna play this like I have AK instead of AJ .. so i lead for 2400 ... Call ... oh sigh .... Turn is    and I shove my last 4k in ... he INSTA calls and shows ........... ... yes of course, the club hits the river and I wish him luck as i walk off and out for a cig !!

Glad you enjoyed it Kev.

Id rather hear you went out in a blaze of glory than you calling off all your chips. Luton these days is quite an experience. The standard of play is nowhere near as good as it was when i started playing there.

Have to see about next week as well. You fancy it?

Poor ol kev , never had a dogs chance, if you could pick a worse table to sit on Colchester and i had it , CALL STATION CITY !!!!!!

Unfortuntely Kev went giddy from bad play by the Players on our table

I lasted to the last two tables and donked off my chips with a terrible piece of play when i re raised a 5200 bet with AQ and got instant called by Gino with 10 10 who raised originally and went spinning out , i did not need to make this play and was annoyed with myself for not passing the hand as i drove home (not in a straight line i need to mention  lol )

p.s nice to see you there Kev , your one of the really nice guys in poker and was dissapointed that you got  out matey

Cheers Ian, you are a Gent Sir ... those glances we exchanged as people called bets to a showdown and turned their cards over were so funny, i seriously have never experienced that level of fishiness in a live comp EVER !!
