What time is the 200 final?

3:20pm

As for how quick Bolt will run i would set the line at something like 19.55.

I think his legs might lock up.

I want to put £10 on any other athlete @ 14/1 with BlueSquare

Just looking around to see if there's more impressive prices anywhere.

I reckon he will false start. Then pull up with a torn calf after 277 metres.
£30 on for the crack.

this will simply NOT happen, forget about his legs locking up, someone would have to chop one off for anyone else to have a chance, even then in light of his amazing jogging pace i'd fancing his hopping speeed over the field!

I agree, he is a joy to watch but he needs to stop pissing about, he could injure himself tommorow and never sprint again, he'd feel a proper twat if he didnt set his absoloute best world record time.

Apparently he's 'up for' the 200m final.  According to some Jamaican team-mates.  Don't actually know what that means, it might just mean that he's actually out of his bed...

We have another boxing medal.  DeGale beats the reigning Olympic champion to reach the semi-final against the Irishman who beat the reigning silver medalist.

Do both semi final losers get a bronze?

I know athletes usually dont focus on WR in olympic finals and this was the reason loads of people were giving me in trying to dissuade from backing him to do the record in the 100m final but in that race for him to run 9.85 so easily in the semis i really couldnt see how he was gonna go flat out on this exceptionally fast track and NOT do the record, he said himself after he didnt care about the record and wasnt even aware he'd done it and i knew thats how he was approaching the race but i just couldtn see how in his pursuit for gold he wasnt gonna inadvertently break the record, theres never been a sprinter like this and he's just too fast.

The reason i dont fancy it now is because if he's approaching the 200m with the same mentality of if it comes it comes i just want the gold i'd be worried that he'd be so elated at coming out of the bend 4+ meters up he would spend the rest of the race celebrating, easing down, banging his chest, looking at the crowed, this is something you would thik is incomprehensible to do in the 100m final because it should be too competitive and really theres not enough time but if he did it in the 100m he's gonna have a lot more time in the 200m to showboat and celebrate coming down the finish.

I think he's got it in him but not for today.

On the Medal's Table front, none of our 3 boxers are in the same categories as the 3 Russian boxers so hopefully some other country will help stop the Ruskies storming up the Table.
