I'm watching an old Batman on BBC Four right now and I'd forgotten just how sharp the dialogue is.

Lucky you, I'm enduring Eastenders right now and I can't believe how shit it is.

When everyone said 'Heath Ledger should get an oscar' I thought that it meant that he was very good, but ultimatley it was because he was dead.

Just got back from watching it......Heath Ledger should get an Oscar.

Best film of the year and please god make a sequel

I was the same-very sceptical and thinking yeah as a goodwill gesture he probably will- but even if he was alive he should've got an Oscar for this performance. tis a shame he cant return for the next installement

I quite enjoyed it, Heath Ledger was good but tbh the oscar is only being talked about as he sadly passed away. It wasn't the sort of role or film that the Academy would have given much thought to under normal circumstances.

Agreed, action films and comedies never get considered for Oscars, even when they might actually deserve it. This time could be an exception and Batman will certainly get something, but maybe not Heath getting the gong (they have a history of awarding Oscars to the right film but the wrong guy)

Great film i thought for a moment i was going to be disapointed and they had left it open for a heath sequel but it sorted itself out.
It has taken Batman films to a new level. I was getting tired of comic films but i'm happy for Batman to stay.

Great film, I thought it was gonna be overrated, Heath does deserve an Oscar for that. Wish I could have that coin so I could win flips all the time.

Tops film was expecting something quite dreary but was well surprised by how much i enjoyed it.Heath ledger(very similar to Jack Nicholson when he played the joker) was good in it but didnt think it was worthy of an oscar.
