Saw Clash of the Titans yesterday in 3D.

Was reasonably good and probably worth seeing if you like that genre of film. This is the first film I've seen in 3D and I thought the 3D bit was  tbh. Wish I'd seen avatar in 3D now.........

I read a review somewhere the three diamonds for this was rubbish as it wasnt filmed in three diamonds but converted afterwards..the recommendation was to see the Two Diamonds version

[X] i will be taking this advice

Ok saw this in Two Diamonds version couple weeks ago.....done what it said on the tin...perfect like for like of the original with top notch cgi thrown in. Good enough yarn but my lady companion said she preferred the orignal...hmm maybe but i think romantic memories make for this comment..

Worth seeing especially if you liked the original  7/10

Rounders is on BBC1 tonight.

I know it gets a lot of stick from poker players and it's of it's time but i think it's enjoyable.

Just spent the last half hour or so going through the first 20 pages of this thread to pick some films to get, went for the following recommendations :

Brothers
Into the Wild
A Single Man
Felon -  5.5/10 It's watchable but I thought it was pretty slow with not that much happening.
Zach and Miri make a porno
Clubbed
Dead Mans Shoes
Gone Baby Gone
Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
Jumper
Shooter 7/10.Thought this was good and Mark Wahlberg(sp?) is good in it.Worth watching.
The Crew
We Own the Night Realised I've already seen this lol, remember it being good at the time it can have a 7/10

Will rate them as I watch, might watch Felon tonight as that's already done.

Iron Man 2 is the shizzle.

Is by 'shizzle' you mean 'the biggest pile of shite ever' then I concur imo.
It is to Iron Man what the second and third Matrix flicks were to the original.
The best cast ever assembled for a comic book flick ever and just meh.
Ticks most of the boxes but pretty tez for me.

My mrs thought this but it's just more of the same of the firstfilm? I guess that might not be enough in itself.

Watched Avatar on blu ray on friday and was worried about the hype surrounding it would lead to the usual disappointment.

I got nervous at the start as i got an odd feeling i was watching an entirely cgi generated film but it quickly drew me in and it melded beautifully into a spectacular, visual treat. Thought it was a good story well executed and once again Cameron has delivered the goods. Hollywood execs must wet themselves when he comes up with ideas.

Although a long film, like all good long films it flew by...
