A request for Harry D

Harry,
Some time last year you made a post on THM about things to do in preperation for playing live events and general tips for playing live. I remember some of the tips involved what to drink, eat and wear aswell as poker pointers. Do you recall the post and if you do would you be kind enough to pass on those wise words again here?
Thanks in advance

Best preperation for you is to do the limbo whilst drinking a white wine spritzer and wearing a grass skirt and coconut bra

Can't remember the exact details but it was something along the following lines (bearing in mind that I'm a fat bastard who likes eating).
ISTR saying something like going to the gym every day helped me focus and concentrate better and that it probably had something to do with improving blood circulation.
Also I like to avoid over eating as it generally makes me feel lethargic and sleepy so I stick with light snacks during the days which can be very long like salads or a little fruit.
Alcohol and coffee is also a big no no during an event so basically I stick to things like water and teas.
As for clothing I like to wear loose fitting clothes and long sleeved shirts as I hope I will be sitting there for hours and casinos/cardrooms can oftne feel quite cold at times even when they're in Vegas due to air conditioning systems.
I do not believe it's a coincidence that my better performances come about when my weight is closer to 90kg (200 lbs) than when it is at 100 kg (220lbs)

This is what I do, I really do this, not joking!
1) Massage if available
2) Light breakfast
3) Watch my ESPN final table event, It gets me in a positive state of mind
4) Email or text Tikay and tell him I am going to win it all
5) 2-3 redbulls in level 1 and 2 to get going, sorry Harry
6) Ipod playing w/ Bare Naked Ladies, 2 songs I like, "If I had a Million Dollars" & " Brian Wilson" ( yes that is the name of the song) >:?
Then the entire time I play I pray to the poker gods that I wont have that "Brian Wilson hand" where I give all my chips away on a real bad call or a stone cold bluff

I can confirm that - I get a text from Brian before every comp he plays, telling me he's going to murder the entire field & bring home the goods.
I generally reply along the lines of "look Brian, we are going to have to work on your self-confidence"......

Brian, do you carry a DVD from ESPN and a portable DVD player around with you everywhere then?
Does John Gale ever ask for a copy?

Ahh Bri,
I am a big BNL fan, and often have them blasting away on the iPod, on the way home from work (to relieve tension, and just chill), and I love that song, and it always makes me think of you!
We should do a karaoke rendition of "If I had a Million Dollars" one day - but not a real rendition - that's cruel <g>
