How did he get to World Cup's? USA 94, Japan & S.Korea? Should have just done what they used to do to Mr T.

He once scored an amazing  hat-trick away at Southampton in a 3-3 draw.

The goals he scored that day were voted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in BBC Match of The Day's "Goal Of The Month".

As to his his fear of flying, I believe it was to do with a bad flight either to or back from his first World Cup, after that he became known as "The non-flying Dutchman".

I had heard it was somethign of a bad experience in the past - but it can't of been after 2002 when he must have managed to fly.

I'd sooner be on a plane than anyother form of moving.

I suspect Villa have just got themselves a bargain bagging Carlos Cuellar for £8m, wouldn't be at all surprised to see him move on within two years for more than double that. He aint the most handsome but this guy is a real top quality centre back.

Vidic came to the prem unheard of for £6-7mil, since then he been fantastic for them.  If they sold him tommorrow they'd get £15-20mil, even then he wouldnt be described as a bargain...  Great signing, but no bargain...
