What blonde poker means...

...to me, anyway. (yes, this is one of those 1000th posts)
I discovered blonde nearly 18 months ago, thanks solely to Jen Mason, who directed me here through updating the Cardiff GUKPT which I was attending because a mate of mine had won a pub league to qualify. Bloody scary it was too, joining up. Especially when the first thing I did was get into an argument with who I now know to be Sunny Chattha!
I really started getting involved in blonde when I started updating for Blue Square at the Luton GUKPT and Colchester Kev was around (enough said there). The mug might be a mug, but thanks to him, Floppy and Junglecat making me feel at home in the pressroom, I started to post more on the forum.
Fast forward a year (its Luton GUKPT now incidentally) and Blonde is like a second home to me. Everyone I've met has been brilliant, and I honestly don't think I've met a blonde who I haven't liked, there's been the odd one or 2 who have pissed me off through something but generally when that happens it gets sorted quickly and everybody's happy again. Also, the way blonde as a community responds to calls for help by members, for example Reece, really does make me smile sometimes and makes me proud that I can call myself a member of the community.
Short, I know, but then again I cant get things like this down on paper...can talk your ear off about it though!
So, thank you blonde, for making one person here smile.
