Short break now - Thewy came across & said he had never felt so confident in his life, he is BUZZING!

Here he is, 30 seconds ago......

His last move, by the way, was with 9-9, & some guy passed AK!

welcome to new blondeite Ian Oldershaw - "The Belly"! Ian is a huge friend, & finished 2nd in this very comp 2 years ago.

Here's our man having a team talk during the break. Amanda knows poker, but I told him to ignore the big fella.

Jen has full chip counts, she's inputting now, & I am off to get some more pics.

come on Jules!

i think the AK is a good pass - the guy limped and then raised all in after Julian had raised - it shouts monster to me and whoever he is i dont think he makes this move at this stage without a hand - Julian would have been at best 50:50 - he can wait for a better spot than that. - good pass

The blinds have been raised to the odd 5,000 - 15,000, mirroring the peculiar trait of Casino Holland's putting 500 - 1,500 earlier.

What do you all think of this?  Personally I reckon the big blind has a bit of a lead weight on him... the pot is nearing 50k by the time it gets to him every time.

I have managed to get near the table in the little Press Enclosure (which is empty, because we are all banned from it!) & take a few pics, more to folow soon, here's the first.

Thanks for the kind words TK - I love you too.  If you get chance tell JT two things for me - first good luck obviously - i hope he goes all the way.  Second - tell him not to make the same mistake I made two years ago - he'll know what that means re heads up dealing.  Cheers - Ian

Personally I feel that all EPT events should have the same structure.

A structure that is a condition of the casino being awarded the event.

Shar Koumi - centre - was terribly unlucky when his QQ was turned over by Ax, he'd have had 400,000+ by now.

this is not an EPT though Karabiner. - but i agree - its about time all ranking tournaments followed the same pre-agreed structure.

Karabiner is spot-on, I agree 100% & have emphasised that point to John Duthie time & time again, & I do believe that will soon be the case, though it's unlikely that he took any notice of me! But in case anyone gets confused, this is NOT an EPT event.

Here's another Final Table shot, Marcel making a point animatedly......
