Pretty sick to get scammed by somebody you consider a friend, not really sure what you can do other than what you have already.

Sry to hear this mate.
I think you have done the right thing outting him once it became obvious that he had grimmed you. As for getting the money back, this is going to be tricky. I doubt you don't have any legal rights in such a situation, though the fact you have home addresses and phone numbers allows you to pressure him into making amends.
Hope you get your money back.

Well if you have emails/posts etc that he is going to send the money could this not be used as evidence; call the police- you have his name, address and telephone number-I think it could be classed as theft since you will have emails/posts/msn chat logs stating he is willing to do swap

I'd have personally turned up at his door unannounced and ....
Best of luck getting the money back mate.
Ohh and I wouldn't post on the web that you plan on visiting him if he does go to the cops then that could be used as evidence of threatening behavior.

Actually just spotted that he posted this on the 1st August so enough time has passed to get this sorted so you are probably right. Although at this stage I would now be giving him 7 days to sort it out before "taking it further" as it were.
