opinions? rangers just signed him for 3million.

i remember him being shite for spurs, played well for pompey the couple of games i saw at the start of last season, did he play much towards the end?

 The man was a legend down here.He kicked started our great escape quite literally with 2 great strikes against Man city 2 years ago(ironically David James was in goal for city that day).A good player IMO and on his day controls the midfield and the pace of the game.He will need a good run of games to get back towards his best again(something he didn't have last season) but I personaly don't think he has been as good since Ben Thatcher done him.He will be a good signing for you,and given a good run of games £3 million could be a bargain.

Excellent buy indeed..could prove a good bit of business that...let's just hope he doesn't have an 8 mill escape clause in his contract.

I am not too excited by this signing but I haven't seen too much of him, I do of course hope that we does very very well with Rangers.
