........a few minutes ago, minding my own business, playing a sit n go as you do. We reach the bubble and I'm sat comfortably in second place cruising to a cash. When all of a sudden..... the BIGGEST WASP    (no wasp avatar this will have to do) I have ever seen flies in through my window, crashes into my laptop screen (which seemed to upset it) and then proceeded to divebomb all around the room hitting me in the process! Faced with a certain cash or bottling it like a wimp, I ran out of the room yelling something like "aaaarrrrggghhhhh".

Armed with rolled up paper the hero returns, but no wasp to be seen. I click "i'm back" on the table and call a bet with a suited 10 j. Then, of course, CRASH - he;s back, I'm outta there again and peek around the corner a minute later with rolled up paper to hand.

Alas this story had a sad ending for the now ex wasp (he wasn't well I tell you, it was for the best) and as for me, I returned to the table to see my stack reduced from 4000 to 600. Not enough to cover the big blind and I bubble.

I'm still in shock, I know you'll all show me sympathy hence my post. Anyone got the guinness book of records at hand, how big is the largest wasp who ever stopped a poker player in full flow I wonder?

No more play tonight, I need a beer!!

Spheksophobia - yep I've got that lol.

All windows shut, baseball bat in hand, I keep hearing an imaginary "bbbbbzzzzing" noise... sigh, no sleep tonight lol.

There was a wasps nest in the garden I thought I'd sorted it out but obviously not. Looking even more forward to apat at the weekend now - no pesky wasps in the Vic, just Des and Tighty to put up with!
