At a guess i'd say 1940-1945

The fashion sense looks like those we see on TV and history books with regards to WW2... maybe TK will be able to advise better as to what the cool kids (well 30-somethings) were wearing around that era.

my guess 1940s, looks to be after Prohibition.

Hi Tony, yes it is a family photo. But as of now I only know the lady on the bottom right is my wife's grandmother. Maybe her parents next to her? Trying to trace my wife's family history for her as a surprise, interesting but taking a while.

Have you tried pinning the year down by other means? Do you know when your wife's grandmother was born, she looks maybe mid 30's in the photo, she's also wearing a ring on her wedding finger, do you know what year she got married?
