Looks standard to me.

By get away from it on the turn, do you mean flatting the c/r on the flop and folding a blank turn. If so i don't like than line.

Reason Im posting this is I'm not running too well at the moment and seem to be getting into these "standard" pots a lot lately. Just ran KK into AA in the yongsta qualifier with 20 big blinds lol

Just wanted the reassurance- Thanks,

personally no harm in raising pre flop

the scary thing you shouldve noticed he called

on the flop yes you have the flush draw so you raise - thats ok
he re-raises - SCARY
at this stage of teh tourney and after these events
personally your on a draw v either two pr or AK AQ AJ
youve been reraised allin.

my guess would be fold lick your wounds and say he had the best hand walk away.
or gamble - you lost take it as a man and walk away

if you were willing to go allin preflop then don't sweat it you ran into a hand that wouldve called you anyway.

BB could have any kind of hand here alot villians will call v wide as it is only 150 more and we have position. I would have been more worried if we had got 3bet.

We have a flush draw and a gutshot giving us an extra 3 outs against most hands. This makes a difference as our equity is considerablely more in spots like this.

You appear to be easily scared. We have a strong combo draw, his range is alot wider or should be than those hands. He can have a flush draw as well, a set, weaker aces, air etc. Alot of the stronger aces will often 3bet pre here.

We are not re raised all in, villian check raises to 800 and we have some, granted not alot of fold equity left by pushing.

As far as im aware George2loose hasn't been in any westerns recently.

I doubt he was willing to go allin preflop qj here and im not sure how that is relevant anyway.

if he's will ing to raise 4 x the BB pre flop,

is he stealing or hoping to be called or reraised and he still calls.

chances are he raised looking for a nice flop he gets it so,

hes prepared to go allin so do it.

totally on subject Grrr...

I like the play.

Just wondered - is the villain a familiar face / name to you.
What buy in is the tourney?

No nothing about villian so maybe should have proceeded with caution.
