Indy, FFS this is a WORLD CUP QUALIFIER against a team of dustmen, postman and carpenters, its not a league game in the premier league ... if man city were 0-0 at half time against the red lion sunday team in the fa cup and came off 0-0 at half time after producing 45 minutes of abject filth, would you applaud them off ?

It's not just England but players tend to put more effort in when they play for their clubs so it seems more England orientated.

I just expect players to put some effort in.   This second half has been pretty good so far.

Have either of you booed your club team at half time or is it only ok if it is England?

So, as a Man. City fan, you can honestly say you've never booed your team off at H-T? Smiley

I never said I would applaud them, but to boo them just doesn't seem right. I have never booed City, but have had plenty of opportunities to do it.  Cheesy
Anyway, no danger now thank goodness.

did jimmy bullard play?
if not, i reckon he could help

never saw the game, but against most teams england should play with 2 out and out wingers with 1 objective get to the byline and cross. (unles he picks beckam, in which case just cross)

Micah is playing at center back for Citeh which won't help his England chances tbh.

Agree and worse than that Man U, Chelsea and Spurs are all playing 4-2-3-1 at the mo. Liverpool did for most of last season and Arsenal have done away from home in Europe in the past.

@ players not being able to play the most basic of formations...4-4-2. You either have top quality players or you have a bunch of fannies who can't be arsed putting in the effort.

I wouldn't play 4-4-2 against a team like Andorra but you should still completely outclass them when you do and not whinge about the formation.

Play agbonlahor and young from Villa on either wing-rooney through the middle IMO and you would go a long way to improving; the big hurrah about capello coming in was that it didn't matter your name in the game; if your underperforming your out-but it doesnt seem to be the case
