quite a tough looking card to me and although some of the favourites have a great chance i feel there is some great value outsiders that i think will run big races.

the trap challenge is interesting too, i think trap 4 has a great chance at 3/1 and have a saver on t6 at massive 14/1

bet of the night for me has to be rev counter (t4) in the 8.50pm race and any price close to 2/1 should be taken.

my next best bet in the 8.35pm hillcross legend (t6) is a juicy price at 8/1 due to there being an odds on in the race.

best outsider is sporty woman (t4) at upto 10/1 to upset another short price favourite

all selections

7.40pm trap 6 sleepwalk tumble         danger trap 1 magna flash
8.00pm trap 4 bubbly sally                danger trap 5 ginger times
8.15pm trap 4 sporty woman          danger trap 6 a million maid
8.35pm trap 6 hillcross legend         danger trap 1 rhincrew scholes
8.50pm trap 4 rev counter               danger trap 6 tristar blue
9.10pm trap 6 coolboy blue           danger trap1 kylegrove top
9.25pm trap 4 vigorous pat           danger trap 6 pond astronaut
9.45pm trap 4 blonde dino            danger trap 6 farloe niall

anyone else looking to watch this tonight? fancies?

yeah i cant resist a few small bets when the dogs are on the telly, but to be honest with not following the dogs that much i have no idea whats really going to win when it comes to open races, from a betting point of view do you prefer open races or local graded races

for the beauty of dog racing you cannot beat open class racing imo

for betting purposes its probably better with graded races because you can concentrate on 1 or 2 particular tracks but the bookies bet so badly in these races its getting harder and harder to make money this way.

open races are priced better so if you put in the studying work then you can find the value.

but as a dog purist open racing every time especially the big competitions
