Your right it's a great fold, i seem to remember
Praz Banzi folding a similar hand (boat over boat) in one of last years GUKPT events
, or was it the year before? Still both great folds.
He folded KT on a KTT board and was shown KK
huh? no effing way, he cant fold flop, what was the board, must have been more danger cards for him to fold.
nope he did fold K 10 on a board that contained k 10 10 and 2 lower cards i believe.

where to start on this whole thread, the fold was good, but from the clip the guy makes it pretty obvious he has roberto beat, obv still actually difficult to fold the hand when in that situation.
Im pretty sure the 'brag post' comment was very tounge in cheek in align with a lot of other posts on blonde about things being 'thinly veiled' etc.. just banter/joking
as karl pointed out, if roberto 'knew' the other guy had a big set on the flop why would he put more chips in on the river?

well summed up pab...it's a good fold, nuthin more nuthin less. the guy, the betting, the speech all gives his hand away, but it's a good pass all the same.
as for barry's 99% of pros goin broke....lol. not sure which ones youre on about mate (suggestions on a post card) but i don't know anyone goin broke. sure some will call thinkin they must win, some will call stubbornly wantin to show how ul they are while probs knowin the bad news, a lot will fold...but go broke? You mean re-reraise this clown all-in after all that checking, river bet raise rr, pathetic speech, big preflop raise....do me a favour!
btw i think irish denis's pass of KK preflop in one of those poxy tv crapshoots is better

Spot on PAB!
Yea ive been watching all the WSOP clips on pokertube. It was an amazing fold! But like people have said the guys comments kinda gave it all away. But we have to be in that situation ourselves to know what we truly would of done!
Is that constructive enough for you Vinni??

Correct. It was in Cardiff, if I'm not mistaken.

People are always going to be blase about this fold, but when you're in front of the cameras holding a flopped set, it's probably a lot harder to fold than one would imagine and I reckon a lot of decent players would make a crying call here. Always easy in hindsight.

Mick
Fletcher
....
I was sat next to Mick Fletcher when that hand went off. In the time I've spent playing poker, there are only 3 or 4 real "jaw-dropping" hands I've ever witnessed which I still vividly remember, & that play against Fletcher by Praz was one of them. It goes in the same box as the Ivey-Jackson play in the MMC, & the Thewy/Barker hand when Thewy won his first ever Main Event, at Luton, some years back. (I Passed pocket Threes to a R & a RR at Brighton once - it's a gift I possess.)

i will openly admit I would have probably called be it a crying call. Then again I would probably have led the flop anyway and done even more chips.
the speach play by the guy was truly awful though when he said he wouldn't show then suddenly said Ok I will show. That gave away his hand but I wouldve already called by then I think.
great laydown by roberto but the play at bolton by praz v mick fletcher was probably one of the best I've seen (I was on the rail after another early exit). I was chatting to tikay when the play went off and it was so sick it was untrue. He had to have the hand the way the action went then he showed the fresh air and it certainly bothered fletch and slowed him down. He didnt seem to want to play too many pots with praz after that.
