Football's a weird game

Yesterday - Motherwell v Celtic - Motherwell in the UEFA cup - 3rd best team last year - awkward team for Celtic or Rangers at home. Celtic having lost to Rangers l;ast game - Scotland squad almost 1/2 made up of Celtic players, 3 or 4 others called up for other international teams so no rest = Rod a wee bit nervous going to Fir Park.

1st half i see one the best performances I've seen us play - with 5 first teamers out - we go in 4-0 up and cruising, the 4th goal should be in an instructional video for passing football. We miss 2 good chances early in the 2nd half, then Motherwell score 2 goals in 2 minutes & I'm watching a different team trying to hang on.

To quote a bloke sitting in front of me - First Half Total Football, Second Half Total Pish.

It's a strange game.
