Renting a flat to 3 polish blokes and want to help set them up with internet access.
They've got wi-fi enabled lappies, so we're looking to get a wireless router with homephone kind of package deal.
They're happy with just the freeview on the telly, so we're not looking for SKY/
Virgin media 3 in 1 packages. Just the internet + phone.
Problem is we don't want to go for a 12-month contract, as the tennants are only on a 5-month lease.
Can you get homephone and internet without a long term contract? Who's good to go with?
I'm guessing they won't give you the router for free. I might have to buy one. What's a good reliable router to buy (very small flat, range doesn't have to be massive) and where can I find it cheap?
Any help appreciated, cheers.

what kind of telephone service you have has a bearing on the type of router you buy - if its a BT line (with BT or another provider) you will need a modem/router, if its a virgin/cable phone provider then its just a router you need.
funnily enough I have a few of both kinds at the moment

Netgear DG834 including free usb dongle - £40 (this is for BT)
Linksys Cable Router (quite a "rugged" product, can take some abuse) - £40
D-Link Wireless N-Draft (fastest possible at the moment) cable router - £65
if these are tempting to you then obviously let me know
