I had a lumpy bet on Uruguay to qualify for the world cup this morning. Not to win the match, just to qualify.

I watched the whole game via the net and was biting my nails throughout. The game went to penalties and the aussies won , much to my disappointment.

I logged back into my account, and there was a larger figure in my balance than when I had left it.

I had clicked on the wrong box when placing the bet, and had in fact bet on AUSTRALIA - CMON

I have a great lucky roulette story.

Having come off a cash table with a couple of hundred in ponies and and 4 £1 chips i approached the magic spinning wheel for my usual lucky number punt. Place my singles on number 21 and watched the magic unfurl. Dropped directly into 21 and i'm giving it a big smile and look down towards the number to check my beauties are placed correctly. They are not there, there is a couple of colour chips on top of 4 black £25's, at first i'm momentarily confused then a massive 'come on' erupts from me as i check my hand and see the 4 £1 chips still sat there but 4 £25's conspicuously absent.

It doesn't end there being the chicken i am i take the 4 ponies and leave one on 21 and 1 on each split. Of course 24 hits and i'm out the door and in the pub buying anyone who will listen a drink. Woo hoo

ive had a simalar fortune on the roulette but not quite as profitable one. i was having a go on the roulette machines you get in the bookies , where you touch the screen to place your bet. i normally cover 11 numbers in a segment with 22 being the last number i bet. so i spun the wheel only to be dissapointed that 19 red comes in. so i walk away from the machine to go and collect my winnings from the counter for a horse that has won for me. i pick up my winnings and think to myself that i will have another spin. i walk to the same machine and there is a guy stood by it. i asked him if he had finished and he said he was waiting for me to take my winnings out before he had a go. i look at the machine and there was £180 credit in there. i then realised i put a £5 chip on 19 instead of next door 22

In my bad gambler days i took a few crushings by the fobt's in the bookies, they are the devils work, i saw one spin 0 17 times in a row.. Nice result with wrong number bet placing, true genius would be wrong chips and the wrong number and comes in.
