Yes of course, you are right and I apologise profusely .... although those on the front lines have to accept that they will face more than their fair share of "Incoming" Wink

Yes Carrow road was built on Colmans owned land in 1934 i believe, basically our previous ground "The nest" (good name imo) was falling into a quarry on one side and was declared unsafe.

Ok tonight                             An Interview with Doyle Brunson

Through  Facebook, Doyle has been able to answer a few questions

Thanks Doyle,

Ok Tell us about the early days

I was born in Longworth, Texas on August 10, 1933. When I was much, much, much younger I was drafted by the NBA's (then, Minneapolis) Lakers. A knee injury ended my dream of becoming a professional athlete, so I had to find a new way to satisfy my competitive instincts. I would soon find it after graduating from college with a Master's Degree in Education. I hung up my basketball uniform and sat down at a poker table. And the rest, as they say -- is history.

Had any good wins lately

I began making the rounds from one poker game to the next playing in illegal games in Exchange Street, Fort Worth, Texas. It was a colorful, but dangerous way to make a living. I continue to play today, but now it's in the biggest poker games in the world: playing $4000/$8000 minimum bets and also at the World Series of Poker. I won the Legends of Poker World Poker Tour event in 2004 (garnering a $1.1 Million prize), and finished fourth in the WPT's first championship event. Early in the morning on July 1, 2005, less than a week after my friend Chan had won his 10th gold bracelet - setting a new record - I tied the record by earning my 10th bracelet at the 2005 WSOP.

V nice, So why are you called "Dolly"

People often ask me about my nickname and the poker hands that are attributed to me. My nickname "Texas Dolly" came from the incorrect reading of my name by Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder, and it stuck. As for the poker hands named after me: One hand, a Ten and a Two of any suit, bears my name because I won the No Limit Hold 'Em event at the World Series of Poker two years in a row with them (1976 and 1977), in both cases completing a full house - - in both years, I was the underdog, requiring me to come from behind both times. Another hand known as a "Doyle Brunson," especially in Texas, is the Ace and Queen of any suit because, as I say on page 519 of the Super System, I "never play this hand." Play poker .. at Doyle's Room - the only poker room .. endorsed by me.

And now an interview in true spy style from          AgentChip109

As a further challenge, guess what the questions were

yo happy to answer ur questions Smiley

1. been playing about 4 years now, being a mixture of online and live

2. AgentChip109 is the worst name ever. i chose it cos when i joined blonde i wanted a new online poker name and i thought it sounded cool lololol. 109 incidently cos 109soooooted is my fave hand. i shoulda just called myself Edgy811 as that is my online name for pretty much every poker site i play on and all my friends know me as Edgy (my name being james edgington)

3. tournaments on Full Tilt but havent played hardly any recently as work is taking up too much time. play cash on pacific which has been going really well for me lately

4. havent had any one major win, but in the space of 2 weeks i got two 2nds and a 1st to win $3k, $2,1k and $2,9k. this is what im really missing in my poker, just one big win to really kick me off
