erm..... this is beyond funny now!

OK I'll set the scene........

It's 9pm Saturday and I've got a night of poker lined up.  only problem is I'm feeling REALLY tired, seriously i could have fallen asleep sat upright on the sofa ffs!

Can't have this it's Saturday night! So i wander into the kitchen and make myself a coffee.

This is where my lazy streak kicks in (why not make an extra strong coffee it'll save me getting up in an hour or so to make another)  I estimate that in my current state I'll need one cup of coffee for every hour of play. (5 cups is probably the optimum amount) SOO 5 heaped teaspoons of coffee go into my regular sized coffee mug along with about the same volume of water should do the trick!!!

I begin to have doubts when i  stare into the mug at the treacle like substance (hmmm is this really such a good idea?) lazy joobs speaks up and reminds me of the inconvenience of constant treks to the kitchen -  what the heck whats the worst that could happen??

pinch the nose down it goes.........

Now this was 11 hrs ago AND I'M STILL WIDE AWAKE!!!  AND to make matters worse i FAR to hyper/jittery to do anything even remotely constructive!!! (did bake some lovely bread rolls at 4am)

seriously HELP!! how the hell can i get to sleep? I've tried a similar concentration of horlicks and that has had no effect! (tasted bloody awful too)

only other thing i can think of is nightol - how many would i need to take to counteract the caffeine??  hmmm maybe that'll be a last resort

oh and what time does MacDonald's open might as well go and get some breakfast!!

Right, 2 pints of water drunk (no cranberry juice in the house only cranberry vodka drink and i didn't think that would help)

last of the bread rolls polished off (i resisted the urge to devour the double sausage and egg mcmuffin that's been taunting me for the last 5hrs - hmm could i be hallucinating??)

now just need SLEEP!!  unfortunately my eyelids seem to be held open with springs!! can only close them for a few seconds before they force themselves back open again!

I won't be doing this again in a hurry!!

Well no updates for a couple of hours so I'm assuming you must have managed to pass out.

That must make a nice change for you - passing out due to tiredness rather than alcohol Smiley

Least you dont have to put up with her today...

I'll set a scene, I'm sat at the comp playing on FT, and she's got lappy playing Stars when all of a sudden I hear "Badugi!!"

"Badugi?", I enquire.

"Yeah, I have Badugi, Ace high, it's great!" she replies.

"Erm, honey, aren't you playing a PLO SnG?" I ask.

"Yeah, but I've got Badugi!!" she replies.

I think nothing more of it and go back to the game, and hear the sounds of the next hand being dealt. Then I hear a sad whisper...

"Now I haven't got Badugi..."

Can only end in tears  Cry Cry

It did.

Tears of laughter.

Uncontrollable laughter!

Somehow, she's on the bubble in the PLO SnG as well!
