Cheers Simon. Do you reckon I'll have to register in advance or will it be okay to turn up on the day?

lets see there 100 rebuy monthly event has a list of replacments as long as the M25 tailback on a day day

so i guess the 250 freezeout might be slightly over sold

It will likely sell out as its on a bank holiday weekend. The only "spolier" is that Owlerton has a festival in the week before so that could stretch some players budgets. To be sure I think I'll pop down and sign up as  it looks a good format.

If you cant get in or you crash out on the first day you could always pop down to the GUTSHOT for the P4C event.

Went down Gala Last night. they have had a "steady" stream of people buying in in advance. Capacity is limited to 121 and it will be close to a sell out. If you definitely want to play it will be best to pop in before next weekend.

Yes but its a two hour round trip for me and they dont let you do it by debit card, though god knows why, and they wont let someone put you in, not easy is it?

Unless there has been a very recent unpublicised change of policy,

you should be able to get someone to put you in.

Sheffield have a system where you can send a cheque to the cardroom supervisor (Craig).

This secures your seat, and when you arrive you then produce your debit card.

Maybe since they have taken the original lead from Sheffield not allowing others to buy you in, they will also allow this method too.

I'm considering entering the 250 at Notts?

Does any1 know how many (if any) places are left?

Also, have we discovered whether or not someone can buy-in for you?

Cheers all.

What a pain. Suppose it's only about 90 mins for me, but I have a m8 in Cambridge who wants to play.

Seems silly.

Might go up the night be4 and hope it's not full.
