Poker books for beginners ?

No not for me
Me dad's starting to get into playing poker but apart for the little bits a have told him so far he's pretty much a total novice of the game and is looking for a book or two to read,he seems to be getting the bug already lol.Anyway can anyone recommend a good book for a beginner as i only have super system or harrington which i think is a bit to heavy for him at the moment.Cheers

any
Amazon purchases? Coming up to xmas with most pressies bought off Amazon I might as well "give something back" given I'm fecking useless at actually playing on the cardroom

And if it does, I would be tempted at this time of year to publicise it more prominently

And to go back to topic, the best author I've read has to be John Vorhaus (IMHO). Not sure whether any of his are aimed at beginners though.

hellmuths was the first book i ever read. It was pretty
useful
much the sole reason i am still a net loser.
