Inevitable, results have been poor this season and fell away back end of last season too and a 2-5 home reverse today sealed it

Board's expectations would have been challenging for top 6, so he was stuffed really

Standard as soon as Charlton went 3-1 down i said to my housemate that was it for Pardew.

Would Curbs go back, it seems the obv choice.

rumour has it we couldn't sack him because of clauses in his contract awarding big amounts of compensation which at the moment Charlton just couldn't afford - was waiting for the tube into central london when i got the news so immediate text to Gatso to give him the good news
