We'd started discussing this on the Hatton thread, but it really deserves a thread all of its own.
I'm currently watching the 24/7 program building up to the fight. Fascinating stuff. Both sides are trying to get the best people in for them to give them the edge. It's going to be a cracking fight and I wonder if De La Hoya will be too big for Pacquiao or not. I really don't know at all how this fight will go. Just hope it's a corker.

Yeah i saw it, looking forward to the fight.
They seem to be selling it as poor vs rich fight with Oscar and his brand new purpose built gym. Then Manny with his whole team sleeping in one room.

Pacman is very big for his size (if that makes sense) and I hope De La Hoyas natural size advantage isnt the deciding factor. Either way it is very nicely poised and will be a complete tear up. I'll never forget the day my jaw dropped when I first saw Pacman make Barrerra his bitch and obv De La Hoya is a legend. Cant wait for this and cant wait for Hatton vs winner.
My prediction - De La Hoya too big and wins by late KO. If De La Hoya doesnt hurt Pacman early, Pacman wins.

i really want pacman to win, guaranteed war, if pacman can't end it inside 4/5 then de la hoyas extra power will surely tell in the later rounds.

Can only see an DLH win here and against Hatton. I hope pretty boy comes out and promises the winner of Hatton V DLH (assuming he wins) a re-match. Would set some great boxing up for a while.

Pacquiao in under 6 for me. Time has to catch up with DLH eventually, think this will be the fight.
Its going to be a cracker though.

It wasn't so vs PBF.

It wasn't so vs PBF. Isn't Mayweather a bit different cos he is so hard to hit clean, therefore the weight isn't such a problem.

I was reading the hatton forum yesterday and they we're suggesting the expected hatton to fight the loser of this fight and pbf the winner.
When is this fight ?

Sat'day 6 December Sky Box OfficeKhan is also on the bill, and he hopes that having Freddie Roach as his coach will mean he'll last longer than the first round. Maccarinelli's also fighting that night.
